STANDARD POLICIES

Are you ready to cater a special party, wedding reception or business event with fresh delicious food? Look no further! The Artist's Cafe can handle all of your catering needs. Here's how we can help ...

  • Menu choices, catering venue and other important service needs should be communicated to The Artist's Cafe well in advance of your planned event. All details should be finalized at least one week prior to the event.
  • Except for wedding cakes, all food shall be prepared by The Artist's Cafe. For wedding cakes, please provide information about your pastry chef so that our staff can coordinate arrival and setup times. Or, if you prefer, The Artist's Cafe can create a wedding cake that you will remember for years to come.
  • All catering jobs require a signed contract that includes information about menu selections, number of people guaranteed, pricing, times, service charges and any other pertinent information deemed vital to the catering event.
  • The Artist's Cafe requires a guarantee of the number of persons that will be attending the contracted event one week prior to the event.
  • The Artist's Cafe prepares invoices for the actual person count or the guaranteed number as per the contract, whichever is the greater number.
  • A non-refundable deposit of $100.00 is required to secure a date and time for your event. A deposit of 20% of the contracted amount is required at the time the event is contracted.
  • All food and beverage is subject to North Carolina state sales taxes and up to an 18% service charge.
  • Any incidental charges can be reconciled upon completion of the event. The balance of the contract is due upon completion.
  • The Artist's Cafe, as a licensee, is responsible for the sale and service of all alcoholic beverages consumed on the premises in accordance with applicable North Carolina state alcohol regulations. The Artist's Cafe reserves the right to refuse the sale or service of alcoholic beverages to anyone attending an event.
